Bats in my backyard

So everynight the bats are in my backyard feasting. Last night I went out and got a few shots. It was really cool cause they kept diving at me lol. Very difficult little critters to snap tho!

Amber...be careful of the bats...had 2 confirmed rabid bat bites here in the county I live in in Oregon....just a heads up is all.

lol Larry.. it was dusk and it looked darker in the pics than it actually was.. and bats are NOT easy to photograph! They dart and flip and fly all over SOOOO fast! I think I did pretty good considering!! ;)

I swear to God I am not trying to be mean or funny but now I see a big black square, with an orange circle in it, and an orange arrow pointing at the orange circle, nothing else. I don't know if it's my resolution which is very high (1600 x 1200) or not, but I honestly don't see anything but black. Which is why the jokes.

OK OK Ingrid made me go look at her monitor, after calling me "stupid" a few times, I might add, and I can see the bats fine on her monitor. I made her look at mine and she can't see anything but a black box either, so at least it isn't my eyes. <grin>

larry,...quit being stubborn..progress is good..you almost missed out on bat pics..due to not liking change...
we had skunks here with rabies..and they got them from the bats.

LOL! Yay for Ingrid! I was starting to get worried that *I* was seeing things that weren't there lol I am glad you got to see it Larry and you know its not your eyes! :)

I will work on trying to get better pictures of them. Its not easy tho! I am still trying to get some shots of the hawks that moved into our neighborhood! The bats were easier because they stayed swooping over my back yard and the neighbors, the hawks just do a flyby.

My CRT is a flat screen. We were at Sam's Club today and they admittedly have some nice LCD monitors there, I almost got a 20.1" x... something (longer than tall) it was very nice, with a nice picture. I'm still thinking about it though. I can actually see the bats now on my screen but it's so fricken bright now! No wonder I don't get many positive comments on my photos, they looked perfect to me, but now they all look washed out.
