Does anyone add Garlic Xtreme form Kent to your discus food. Is it good?

Thanks.

i use it to soak my tetra bits. A lot of people use it as it does have natural medicinal applications.

I am definetely an advocate of adding garlic to the fish food. I add it to the food for my discus, cichlids, livebearers, and my saltwater fish. They go crazy for the food and it stimulates thier appetite. As far as the immune system, I think there is some truth to that. If they eat the food with the garlic enough, supposedly it gets in thier gills and is secreted somehow so parasites cannot attach themselves to the fish and fall off. How much of this is true, I don't know. I do know that I have happy, healthy and hungry fish when I use the garlic x-treme.

I found something called Garlic Guard from Seachem. Is this roughly the same thing as garlic xtreme?

I also soak food in Garlic Xtreme for the appetite stimulant properties but I don't think there is any medicinal/immune boosting properties in garlic unless it is freshly crushed right before feeding.

Same thing. Funny how I can't find the garlic guard, only the garlic x-treme.
