Anyone actually seen these in recent years for sale?

Nope....and very few beyond that. If memory serves me right, Ive read(or heard, been told?) that the intense blue color fades quiet a bit when they're brought into captivity....maybe thats why?

Buuuut.... I'm no expert on wilds by any means...and don't even really care for most Heckles to tell you the truth..so I could just be talkin out my arse!:D

Been 10 years since i have seen them, maybe longer i can't remember exactly. Here in Oz any wild discus is cause for celebration they are so rare, but those blue heads......wow.

yeah rod i hav'nt seen any quality wilds in oz for years i had some great heckels back in the 80s but nothing since then.
