Hi all,

Would like to share with you my Red Golden. Had seen some post in the forum and changed the dark blue blackground to light blue last week. Their color are nice and I do not want any pepper coming out from the RG while they are growing.

Just woke up early this morning and suddenly have some mood to take photo of the RG while they are not fully got up and staying still in the water.

Ken,

Those are Violet Reflections that are in with the Red Golden. As they mature, they are still young, they will begin to lose some of the striations and take on a more violet hue.

Dennis you always have such clean aquariums, keep caring for your fish like this and they will reward you with good size, health and color.

Hi Bob,

Glad to hear from you again.

You know what? I only prefer blue color discus before looking at the RG. They eat a lot and grow fast since going home. The more they eat, the more cleaning work of the tank has to be taken care. I have a 45g and 90g tanks. I regret I could not spend more time on the third tank at present though it only takes me about 30 mins everyday to W/C. I prefer to just sit in front of the 90g tank to watch them swimming, eating and chasing each others with a cup of Chinese tea.

You should advised me to build a 120g tank while I was planning my 90g.

what size tank is it?

it is a 90g bb tank with 12 adult discus from 5'' to almost 8"
