hi all,
my question is are frozen blood worms a high protein food the package says 4.5% protien sound like not much protein, is this because its frozen and alot of it is water????Is it good to juvies or just a treat???

Hi Bill,

Its a good source of protein in as much that what is there is readily usable by the fish. Because they are frozen (and it would be similar for live bloodworm too) they contain a lot of moisture which 'distorts' the picture a bit. As part of a varied diet they are good, I know some people who feed fbw almost to the exclusion of all else, I wouldn't though. I feed them once a day though so am a fan of them.

Thanks for all your input, so I guess they are pretty good for the fish.
