Is there any hope for egg eaters? Two of my males eat the eggs as soon as they are laid(or shortly after). Does anyone know any tricks that might stop this behavior?
I know trade them out! One is the only sakeskin to breed with my female(would a ocean green cross make attractive babies?); the other is a huge, clean, orange pigeon.

put a screen over top of the spawning site...it'll let them see and fan the eggs...but not eat them.

Thanks for the reply, but they are eating them before they fertilize them. Sorry I did not specify that.

Unless they are young and inexperienced I think it's a lost cause.

2 house bricks, one large swinging action usually does the trick!
