What makes a Discus pepper? Can any one tell me? That is something I don't know and like to know if any one can help please.

It is only pigeon blood based discus that pepper. The pepper is efectively the stress bars of the discus. Dark backgrounds and some planted tanks can cause a pigeon blood to increase its peppering. It is now considered a flaw in pigeon bloods if there is any pepper, those without pepper are described as being clean.

Then it is either not peppering or it has pigeon blood genes in it.

Look at this picture i took of my red white i really dont know why the red didnt show up on him but its more like a hue of red but if you look at the pic you can see some peppering. not a good pic. dont mind the algae in my tank i got new curtains and took off the shades so im working on that.
