I'm glad you mentioned this, I saved some money on the bloodworms! We all need to watch for these kind of deals because there is a lot of money to be saved on deals like this.

I have a really stupid question. I'm ordering FBW's. I figured I should ask for the fastest shipping method which is next day air. But then I see that there's a $20 frozen food shipping charge. Do they use dry ice or something? Can I use a less expensive shipping option? The next day air is about $25. Standard shipping is $10. but it takes a week.

I just ordered a whole bunch of stuff. Liz, they will only ship via the frozen food shipping method, which is overnight and a flat rate of $19.99, I believe for as much frozen food as you want. I assume they use dry ice.

I see...I guess they gave me an option because I ordered a couple of other things too which would have to be shipped seperately. Thanks
And thank you Greg for letting us know about this!

Liz, I was also going to order pellet food, but they were adding on the regular shipping & handling fee for that, in addition to the frozen food shipping charge, so I removed the pellet food and just ordered the frozen. (I think they could have put a small can of fish food into the frozen food carton, but...)

That's exactly what I did.

Liz. The flat fee $19.99 is FEDEX next day shipping.
I ordered some flake food and an air pump which will be sent regular shipping time.

I wasn't charged for any other shipping charges for the other stuff.
I called in my order so may be she made a mistake I don't know.

I asked about shipping procedure. They use dry ice. I told her since I live out in the country most deliveries are always late afternoon.

So she put a note on my order about that requesting extra ice with no extra charge.

Also it was suggested I could put a cooler outside with a sign that says FX on it and they will stick it in the cooler. I only plan on being gone about 3 hours tomorrow so that was a great idea if they happen to come during that time.

If you can find some one to go in on shipping like I did that really cuts down your cost even more.

Good idea on the cooler, Greg. I'll put a fish box outside the gate for them.
