A few of you knew our budgie had recently passed away. I debated about getting another budgie but thought about trying something different. Well, today I picked up my "different" birds.
I got a red head male and black head female gouldian finch. Plus 2 male society finches. Pictures aren't the greatest as I wanted to take some pictures but quick ones as they are settling down still from the trip home. I feel like Noah's Ark here now with the menagerie of animals I have.:p
Male on the right, female on the left.

Well, let's just say that I have to go buy a squirt bottle today! I came into the room this morning and saw a big suspicious lump under the bird cover! Yes, Squeak had burrowed under the sheet and was hunkered down on the top of the bird cage.
Today, the cats are out of the room to give the birds a stress free day seeing as how they only got here yesterday.

The societies are called Frick and Frack, I have yet to name the gouldians?
They are not yet a year old and will live up to 8 years.
