Hi Guyz:

I've been salivating about this tank on ebay for a few days. I could never have it but it's just mind blowing! If you have a big tank let's see it :). Here's the link:

IMO, it is never a good idea to buy used tanks since you have no idea what kind of shape the tank is till too late.

For 1400+, you could add few more dollars to get a new one. Maybe not as big as that one. Keep in mind that it is 10 pounds per gallon. A 290 g tank will weight about 3000 pounds. Most floor may have problem supporting it.

Hey Fishlover:

Good point and thanks for that, my dream is already crumbling, hmm 3000 lbs, about the weight of a small car? :)

Still fun to dream about! It would be great in a basement on concrete flooring.

For that much money, you could probably get a brand new one from here (http://www.glasscages.com).

A friend has a 220 as a room divider...we re-enforced the basement wall it sits on and then put 3 layers of 3/4'' plywood on the main floor to help distribute the weight on the joists............10 years later it's just fine...it can be done with some thought
