I was wondering if you guys could help me pick a good RO filter system. Since I’m new to RO filter I have no clue what to look for.

I have a 45 gal tank that I would like to use for breeding discus. Can anyone please tell me what RO model to get that can do the following:

1. Fit into my washroom sink
2. Can be easily taken off the sink if not in use.
3. Cartridge can be changed easily.

What is RO/ID for?

Thang, read everything in the sticky in the section by RandalB on RO units. Randal breaks everthing down by componets with photos. He has done an excellent job explaining their functions and applications. If you cannot see the photos, go to the Simply Discus Library Here is the link:

Look under Water Chemistry. I think (not sure) Randal sells this equipment as well.

Thank you for the link. I have read it.

Do you know what is a good RO system to buy?

Should I get RO or RO/DI?

www.airwaterice.com (http://www.airwaterice.com) He's a member here and will treat you right!!!

You doubt you need DI. RO will take most TDS down to less than 20. DI will take it to zero but in my case only produces about 200 gallons of water before the DI is exhausted. Too expensive for too little benefit , IMO...

Kent's about the worst on the market. Definately hit airwaterice or equivalent.
