As I search through the different web sites and discussion forums I keep seeing breeders refer to their fish as AAA quality, or AA quality and I really do not understand what this really means. Common sense would lead you to believe that the more "A's" in the rating, the better the quality is. Is there an accepted rating system to grade the quality of a fish or strain?

I am trying to learn more about keeping quality, healthy Discus, but I can't seem to find what this grading scheme is all about.

Thanks, Ken

there oughta be...and nada is trying to get something going i believe. the aaa is just breeders or importers trying to make them sound better. in reality..theres grade a , grade b and culls. most grade bs go to lfs . unfortuneately some culls go there also. grade a is usually sold via the internet and customers..hopefully.
