Used Tank

I need some advise.

Someone is selling a used 125g glass tank but the corner of the top frame is damaged. Looks like someone cut the outside corner of the top frame. The top and inside lip is still intact. I also noticed a few chips in the glass on the corners. There's probably 4 or 5 chips 1/16 to 1/8 deep. There are no leaks, but will the damage to the frame and chips cause a failure in the near future?

Do you think it's ok to buy?

It wouldn't be akamai to buy it. ;)

Not worth the risk IMO to save a few bucks. You'd be kicking yourself big time if it does break down the road.

PS..what island you from?? I was born on the Big Island and grew up on Oahu.

I was born and raised on Oahu. I had some discus 8 years ago. Now I'm trying to start up again. Would you happen to know anyone raising discus here? Seems like the breeders and hobbists I knew retired or quit raising.
