Quarantine question

Just would like to take a poll here to find out peoples different methods. So people say when they receive discus from a different source they will quarantine them in a seperate tank for 2 to 3 weeks to see if they get sick.

Some people say that they will keep them in a medicated bath for 2 weeks to be safe. What kind of medicated bath is everyone talking about. I don't think anyone has been specific about this.

Which one is more prefered by all the breeders and which one is benefitted the best between the two? This may be a no brainer but since I am just getting back into the discus world again after10 years just want to do the right thing when I bring in my first batch of discus.

I keep all new fish in a one of two 20 twenty gallon quarantine tanks for 3 weeks before I introduce them into the community. I normally just add salt to help ease the stress and don't medicate unless they show signs of sickness.
