water temp to warm

did the search with no luck. my heater gauge is set at 85 and the water temp seems to be staying at 88 degrees (last 3 days).Would you all say thats a tad to warm? Should i bother trying to get it down some? I also have some rams, cory cats and a couple clown loaches. Thanks

I set mine at 86 all the time.

Some heaters ie. eheim for sure, require caliberation. I was having trouble keeping the heat down using new eheim heaters until I found out you have to caliberate it first.

Check the ice point of your thermometer and reduce your Heater
