Should the fish being treated be moved to another aquarium even if treatment has begun. Or will this just add stress to the fish?

Whats the reasoning behind moving? I try to move asap then medicate. Never treated and then moved.

The fish have worms, so I'm treating with Prazi and Metro and increasing the temp 92F. I started treating the main tank (180 g) and just thought it my be easier to treat the sick fish in a smaller tank. I also didn't want to stress out the fish that don't have worms.

How do you know the other fish don't have worms also? If you are treating for worms or hex then you really need to treat the whole tank. You could always move ALL of them to a qt tank that is smaller so your dosages aren't so big and then treat. PP the main tank to really clean it up and move them back when treatment is done.

When the other fish poop, it looks normal. Its been 3 days now and I figured that if I needed to go longer with my treatment that it may stress the other fish.
