A few months ago i tested my ph out of the tap and it was 6.6. I tested it a few days ago and it read 7.2 Now when i tested it today it read 7.0. Why is the ph of my tap water changing? The ph always stays at 7.0 in my tank.

Many times tap PH can change with seasonal changes, especially if you're on a private well, or if you're on municipal water, the PH can also change if your town is treating the water differently - they may be lowering or raising the PH. I use straight tap and I do not age for WCs, but the water is from my well and my PH does change from fall to winter, then from winter to summer. That's why IMO anyone that uses straight tap should test their PH before each WC, as in the past I've seen some drastic tap PH changes from one week to the next, i.e., from 6.8 to 5.5, when I lived in another area.
