How many discus??????

Hello all well I have a 55 gallon tank and I'll have four discus in the tank and three out of the four eat all the food before the other fish can get some food, evently that fish will die and I have been dealing with this problem for a long while now, well what Im asking is how many of these fish should I have in a 55 gallon?

Brian,
Personally I don't like having less than 6 discus. The less fish you have the worse the fish on the bottom of the domancy gets picked on. I would go with 5 or 6 in a 55

1 discus per 10g. If feeding is a problem, feed at both ends of the tank. Or..feed and as soon as the group is eating, throw some food in the area of the one that isnt getting its portion. You could always throw in a temp seperator when feeding.
