Hi Red Discus,

Your fishes look so nice.... I really like the last picture, the discus looks very special... BTW, how big is your tank?

Cheers,
Brandon

Nice fish but I do really think it's a bit overcrowded. Sorry!!!
The mixed sizes are also not recommended as the smaller ones will eventually be bullied to death.
The amount of fish you have could easily be split into 4 tanks of the same size IMHO to give them all a fair chance of reaching their max potential size. I'm really sorry if I sound ominous but I've seen this happen many times in many places. Please forgive my straight talk. :)

RD, I love the crowded look. Makes them look like one big happy family. I would give that a try but I know I can't do daily WCs. So I must with-hold. All your discusses look great!!

Gorgeous, gorgeous fish!!! I always believed I'd get a king-size bed one day in heaven....but I got so much "fish envy" going on....I'm liable to get something more like a used sleeping bag on heaven's floor instead!:D

Wow, what a great collection of beauties!
I wish I can have more. Now I have 10 in my 120gal.
Keep reminding myself that it wont look so spacious when they are 6ins.
Mine are all between 3-4 ins.

But yes, I love that crowded look too.

Great pics!:)

Hi Pheonix. To me i feed them alot and i change water alot too,but once in a while 1 or 2 fish they are not eating i treat them with furan2 for couple days after that they're ok
You might ask some expert in the forum how to keep alot healthy fish in 1 tank.

Over 24 fish in a 40 gallons tank... feeding them with beefheart and tubiflex worms....You are THE MAN to define the standard " x?x gallons per discus rule" and "don't feed your discus with Tubiflex". And still planning to add several more fish to the tank? Amen.
