I Am Keeping NINE....out of 14....

Okay ~ so last night I decided with the help of my daughter which discus are going and which are staying ~ these are the Selected Ones ~ I can not part with any of these....lol!

This tank is so colorful and cool....

I have three of my very first discus from Dan, inclu Ms. Pringles from the lfs ~ Kenny's and Angela's & Andrew's....They are all staying as I should be able to handle 9 in a 55gal ~

...or really, what have I learned?

Under your care Marie, they'll be fine!! I'm sure it must have been hard to part with the other 5.

Your pic gives me a pretty good perspective. I setting up two 60's and I plan on keeping 8 discus in each.

They look really beautiful in there, Marie. Like you said, its very colorful, and your fish are growing up to be real beauties. I have 10 in a 75 (not what I intended, but...) so you should be okay - we know you'll do your WCs! :D

What happened to the other 5? And they look beautiful as always. I'm sure you can handle 9 in a 55. I've done 7 in a 55 before with no problem just keep up with water changes.

I forgot this thread ~ Sorry! It was very hard Reid....BUT....I can see them from where I sit:) I put them in my 20gal for now as I had to take some of the load off that tank or I was looking at some serious issues to all of them ~14 in that 55gal had bad written all over it, ya know? So you are getting two 60's? Very cool, babe! Take some pictures!!

I think I may be okay Ed. Doesn't that BD look great??? He is sooooo blue, Ed that he makes the tank look awesome! Kenny called me last night at work just to tell me that as well:) He is soooooo high finned ~ ya gotta love it ~

My very first discus ~ remember?....lfs too ~ $35 bucks, if I remember correctly ~ She was quarter size ~ I have done good by her:) She was raised for 8 months alone, with my Angel fish, Ms. Splotches, that Ryan named and Deb has now ~
