Lovely wilds.. I'd be proud to have them. Is that a DIY tupperware filter of some sort in your tank?

Many thanks for those kind words .... http://www.discusfishuk.com/discusfishforum//style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Yes Reid, It is a tupperware tub with an upturned funnel inside and lots of /\ s cut all around the base ... tub filled with gravel. Air line attached at the top of the funnel just below the spout. It's a really old design ( I've had them 25 years ) but still works well.

Thanks again for all the kind comments ... http://www.discusfishuk.com/discusfishforum//style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Amber : I reckon the biggest has to be 6" and they're still relatively young yet .... a fair size for Tefes I believe.

Very nice wild. It seems like it is much harder to find wild discus in any lfs, let alone the nice ones.

Those are some truly nice browns and RSG's, I would love to have them swimming in my tanks. Where did you get them?

Hi Polar Bear .... I got them from an importer in South Wales, mind you I had been badgering him for 12 months before he managed to get hold of them.
It was not through any fault of his I might add, he knew exactly what I was looking for and you just have to wait until they become available.
