No More Bare Bottom No More Sluggish...! Just Color!

Hey Guys ~ My friend came over and in his trunk was a half of bag of my Soil Master substrate and some other toys:)

Made My Night ~

I added substrate and put the Rams back in ~ I will say this: They are not "off" any more, guys!...I swear totally different personalities now ~ back to the same discus ~ swimming in and out ....like they took some anti-depressant....:confused:

Now, Kenny's fish have never seen Rams nor substrate....lol! They were like Oh Hell No!...at first ~ My Rams are old though, and one is going down I am afraid ~ just sits on top of the condo....:( Then the Bottom Dweller Ram....the Golden Albino Intermediate....stays real close to it ~


This tank never has been better ~ so colorful and I adore every fish in there....

Even my very first ~ Ms. Pringles!

The tank is looking real good , Marie!! Normally I'm not a fan of the "easter egg" discus tanks but I like this one, may be the color combo itself!!:)
The golden albino keeps getting more interesting everytime you show a pic of it

Marie, nice looking setup my friend!;) The whole group look more at ease than when they were in the bare bottom. I didn't know you still have these german blues? Are they like F3s now? :D j/k

Have you just done another 100% WC on this tank again LOL? The male ram seems to be covered in bubbles and that usually appear only after a massive water change!:p

I do still have them Kenny! Remember when I got them from you...I think, Mike brought them up from the City...there were 12....so tiny ~ I only have like 6 left...No...there had to be more than that cuz I gave Candy a bunch...hmm....anywhoo ~ they are old I think?.....

LOL, were they able to see through the bottom before? Mine always were off when they could see through the bottom of the tank. When I set it back up again in its new spot I've got to paint the bottom of that tank!

It's so good that your fish are feeling relaxed again :). I still have one geriatric Ram left of Kenny's too. Really looks old, but still hanging on ;).

I don't think so as they have been in a bare bottom tank for ....well, hell, Kenny's have always been in one and the two year olds....for the last 6 months....
