White bits on discus

One of my friends discus has white spots that look like ich on the side of the fish. correct me if i am worng but ich cannot live above a temperature of 85 so it cannot be ich. Just wondering what else this could be and how we should go about treating the fish

Normally Ich can't reproduce above about 85* but there are strains out there now that can survive up into the low 90*, so it is possible for it to be ich.

A scrape and microscope would tell you in seconds if it was ich or not.

I'd look at salting in a QT

the spots have gotten a bit bigger.....and now he has long white marks on his face the look pussie (spelling) what should i do now
