Does QuickCure(MGF) hit biological filtration?, the manufacturer says it won't if used under correct doseage and schedule

If it's capable of hitting parasites and bacteria, why wouldn't it affect the bio-film in the filters??

Any med or chemical that can kill is also quite capable of affecting the nitrifiers to some degree

Make sure there is plenty of airation when using FMG type products.

There are 2 airstones working plus and AQ50 external power filter, I just left only foam there and removed the biological medium to another tank the same I did with the intank sponge filter in order to preserve the biological stuff, I also did a 75% WC today to start with good clean new water, I also will turn off heaters( 2X 200w visitherm de luxe to drive a 50 gallons tank) to get more oxigen at lower temp and everything is schedule to start tomorrow morning with QuickCure( manufacter doseage of 1 drop per gallon for 3 days with 50% daily WC before every new doseage) since I heavily suspect gill fluke, 2 of the discus showing gill mucus aswell and are not eating as normal so I don't want to wait more, prazipro did nothing so going to switchto QC, do you see this ok to start with?
