Hahaha! Again, please accept my apologies, I haven't taken the pics yet and I would appreciate it if you would refrain from posting until I have a few pics up :)....thanks!

It's been 2 years! Wow! and NO PICS??? What a tragedy! So let's get started, I have a few fish still ;)....

As for the credits, all these fish you will see on this thread were obtained from Mary Suby of DDD Discus and imported from Mr. David Lim of Fishiotribe! My thanks to both of them for making this hobby a special one!

Okay no more words! Just pics! Enjoy! :)

take care,
Sandeep

Yeah I agree. All I saw was some orange, yellow and spotted background of the tanks. Where are the discus?:D

I was going to make this a pics only thread but out of concern for my friends I'm forced to post this from the MayoClinic website:

Introduction
Farsightedness (hyperopia) is a common vision condition in which you can see objects in the distance clearly, but objects nearby are blurry. If you're farsighted, your eye is probably too short from front to back, causing light rays to be focused behind rather than on the back of your eye (retina).

The degree of your farsightedness determines your focusing ability. People who are severely farsighted are able to see clearly only objects that are a great distance away from their eyes. If you're mildly farsighted, you may be able to see clearly objects that are closer to you.

Farsightedness usually is present at birth and tends to run in families. Most young people don't know they have the condition because the lens of their eye is flexible enough to compensate for the condition. Therefore, most young people with farsightedness don't need corrective lenses. But as they age, the lens becomes less elastic and unable to make the necessary adjustment. By middle age, most farsighted people need corrective lenses to improve their near vision.

A basic eye exam can confirm farsightedness. You can easily correct this condition with eyeglasses or contact lenses. Another treatment option is surgery.

IN SHORT, MOVE BACK FROM THE SCREEN!!!

Hey Sandeep, to me they look fine too, just resize them a size smaller would have been easier on the eye. I just got out of eye surgery ya know?:D

Good, healthy looking fish you got there. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comment. I am very fond of my fish. Sometimes I think, I don't want to post pics because I don't want ANYONE finding fault with my fish! :).....After a while, even the ugly ones grow on you and so please don't mind if I post some pics of my ugly fish too, they also deserve some photographing :)

Thanks for your comment! When I started posting these pics I thought maybe ppl should see all the details of my "pets" like they were under the magnifying glass. I resized the pics to be 1024X768 but maybe you guyz might prefer them to by 800X600 - I'll reduce the remainder to that resolution but their may be some sacrifice in the detail!

BTW, you can use the zoom feature in you internet explorer to shrink the pics, maybe give that a try?

Hi Al:

Thanks for you comment. I wonder if I'm allowed to name my fish? I bought those "orangey ones" as RedWhites but they were only 1". I wonder if I fed them some Carophyl Pink or Red whether they will become RedWhites....Anyway I'm very happy with the way they look. Just by looking at them they seem to be a cross between a snow white and some pigeon ;)....

The spotted fish that I have show so far (and I have 3 of them) are called GLSSI, I am told that they are a cross between LSS and Golden (with PB genes) The unique quality o these fish is that they are pepperless and barless or maybe very faint bars.....

I appreciate your comment on my raising them well....Actually, I didn't raise them that well keeping them in RO water only and feeding them only bloodworms.....But, they are strong and alive and I haven't been hit with any surprises from the water company!

take care,
Sandeep

Hi Ed, if I had nice even lighting a "whole tank shot" would work but right now it might be a bit difficult since I am shooting with a 110 watt 2 foot Coralife reef light and waiting patiently for the fish to take position!

Hi Kenny:

Thanks for your comment, I hope ur right. 3:1 odds is pretty good right? :)....With so many fish and only one female golden laying eggs weekly, it's kinda depressing! But, I suppose it's my fault! Everything always is! :)
