Last but not least, a 2 month update on the VR's. They came in around 1.75" SL and one has grown pretty well, probably now around 2.5-2.75" SL or so, the other...well hasn't seemed to grow much at all. So he's not much if any bigger than he ever was. I don't know if he'll always be a runt or what. He's had a metro treatment and they've all been de wormed with Prazi. Unless he has a roundworm problem I don't know what else would be wrong with him. He's been moved into my MP tank, less competition for food there. So we'll see if that makes any difference. Anyway, here they are:

I think I will need more tanks in the not so distant future. You don't even want to know how many discus I'm getting soon.

Sadly....space is limited and I'm already stretching the tolerance of the landlord. :D

Hi Karen:

I'm not one of those ppl who subscribe to the "straight line growth" theory....sometimes there is a pause in the growth and then suddenly they will grow a whole lot! Don't give up on them....Don't keep them with bigger discus either! :)

So what your'e saying is...I should always keep purchasing discus the size of my runt...you know, so he doesn't get lonely!
