Hi all,
anybody knows the difference between alencer red and alenquer red . It seems like they are the same. Anybody has link or picture of adult alencer red.

If im not mistaking they are the same thing just spelled differently.

alenquer is the way its spelled . as its a river..in the amazon where they find the red ones..it got changed to alencer..and its easier i guess...same fish.

Alenquer is a region in Brazil and is pronounced "alensah" in portuguese thats where the two spellings come from.
