egg eater forever???

Does anybody has had an experience with an egg eater that eventually became a good parent??
Can they stop doing that or if once they begin that it's forever???

If you have a 2 years old fish that eats the eggs while the female is laying it, is it a waste of time to continue to work with that fish or it could change????

That could change as they get a little older, I have had a pair that would eat them for the first 10 or 12 times they laid and then they ended up being one of my best parents. Just keep them together and I am sure that they will eventually get it right.

my pair's male will eat when the eggs start hatching.

my brother in law's pair eat all the eggs after the female finished, this happens since it starts, lost count on how many times this pair had laid eggs.
