Two wild green tefes I've had since January are holding one gill completely closed against its body. These fish are in with 4 other adults who are not exhibiting these symptoms. I've read thru most of the "stickies" on the forum and all seem to point to gill flukes. Before I start treatment, is there anything else this could be?? The fish's colour and fins are excellent. Breathing completely normal, no scratching seen. Their appetites are down slightly.

It sounds like flukes to me. Can you post your water parameters? (pH, ammonia, nitrates, nitrites)

If you can, check their gills, if they are red it is most likely something besides gill flukes. If they are pinkish it almost certainly is flukes. A very good medicine for treatment is almost any Ich med, which almost universally contain Formalin, and Malachite Green, dose per package directions.
