I agree the fish on the left looks really good. By the photo the other fish looks to me that its top fin starts back further than it should. I may be wrong though. Congrats on the spawn and keep us posted.

Mandisc, that male is awesome all right. Very immpressive. female pales compared to him :D but i'd love some of the babies anyway. Should be an interesting crossing....good luck:)

hi, its been 3weeks since they hatch. here are some updates. originally there was about 80+ fry but left 20+ due to my carelessness during water change. accidently shiphon out 3/4 of them cos i forget to close the outlet valve. he he stupid me.
pic of frys about 1week + n 3weeks young.

hi all, just an update. the good and the bad.
the good news is that the second spawn is looking great after about 10days.
the bad news is that i flush out to the drain all the ballance of the first spawn due to undesirable growth rate n shape. :c
