So you didn't do any good out of the eggs in your photo? She is a nice fish. is she a turq or a royal??

I'm not sure if she's a red or royal,I purchased her just over 12mnths ago from LFS, she was my very first discus and is to blame for my addiction to this hobby.She was only 5cm when I purchased her as a red turq but I'm still confused as I have two other red turqs and their colouring isn't as bright and the patterns are different.I had no luck with those eggs, it was her first time and in the community tank,interesting to watch though as her partner is older and has bred before.She laid for hours but ate them as she was laying her partner was gently trying to show her not to.Anyway they are in their own tank now and laid again two days ago but she ate them after I done a general tank clean,and I feel these 2 aren't settled into their own tank as yet.I have another pair,the light brown in the pics I purchased 2 of them as ghost reds,they are on their own now to and are still trying to get it right.really frustrating!Overall I think it is something I am doing wrong,but I will work it out eventually.My ph is allways around 7,I dont interfere with it.I am going to start ageing my water as I don't have an R.O system and am using tap water with an ager added to it.Anyway that was a really long answer,enough babbling on from me.

Have sorted camera problem out and taken recent pics.I think my tank looks so much better without substrate(something I mentioned in another thread) .Tank is plain and simple but their is so much more emphasis on the fish themselves.anyway enough pics from me for now.
