Has anybody tried this little gadget to prevent overflows during water changes?

It's designed for bathtubs, but sure looks like it might be good for aquariums!

Hey Terry, where ya been? I like that lil fish, looks like it would work for a tank if you hang it just right.

Hi Debbie!

I changed jobs and bought a house in The Woodlands. The water is very hard and alkaline up here! Ph is around 8.2! :(

I have never tried that gadget because I have an alarm system when my tanks overflow, it called splashing water hitting my floor. :D:D

Terry. Thanks for the link. Exactly what I'm looking for. When I'm doing wc's many times I'm refilling my storage barrels while cleaning tanks, equipment, and hear the sound of water hitting the concrete. Definitely going to try this.

Can you provide more info? All I see on this link is `enter your zip code.' I currently use the `water hits floor' method but I have found it less than effective. :D Once I thought to myself, `huh - it must be raining.'
