The Hill Country Cichlid Club is hosting the Federation of Texas Aquarium Societies (FOTAS) annual convention in San Antonio Texas September 7th – 9th, 2007 at the Springhill Suites, 3636 NW Loop 410, 78201. The hotel phone number is 210-737-6086 and be sure to let them know you are calling for the HCCC or FOTAS to get the special room rate of $85.00 per night. This event features speakers Juan Miguel Artigas Azas, Dave Hansen, Spencer Jack and Anton Lamboj. Saturday afternoon will feature a silent auction by the B.I.T.C.H.’s (Babes in the Cichlid Hobby) and a huge all species auction all day Sunday (11:00am until the last bag is sold). The weekend will feature a huge fish show and lots to see and do.
Come join us in celebrating the camaraderie of fellow aquarium hobbyists at FOTAS 2007!

I offered to post this here since the comment was made that there are no discus entries in the show so far. I know there's a fair few Texan discus people out there. Maybe some of you might be interested in going/showing??
