i would appreciate some comments on some results i've gotten from two different kits .i've been doing a fishless cycle for about 4 weeks now, ammonia goes down quick had a nitrite spike thats come down and shows about 10 ppm nitrates.now the test kit i've been using is from aquarium pharmaceutical last night i used a test strip from jungle labs and it shows nitrates and nitrites extremely high the nitrite chart does'nt even go as dark as the strip shows.so any ideas on which results i should go with

Always go with a liquid test. The strips can be affected very easily by high humidity and age

Grahm is correct.(He almost always is!) I had a lfs tell me I had nitrates =80( test strips). when I brought a dead fish back. I got home and tested with the liquid and it said 20. They seem to work for Nitrites but for me the ph and nitrate don't even come close.
