New pump broken...

My new water pump didnt last too long,, junk.... Drained my tank went too plug in pump too fill back up, and nothing..... So i decided too try my maxijet.. wow are these little powerheads powerful, the maxi jet is pumping the water around 49ft more or less... it dosent fill the tank the fastest but beats carrying buckets of water:D...... just cant believe the power of something thats 1/3 the size of the new pump which just burnt out, and almost does a good of job..

did you take the impeller out and check...mine stops..when i get hair all stuck in there..or plant matter. i clean it and then goes again. hair..how can you get hair from a fishtank? lol. easy..lots of hair floating inmy shop..dog grooming..and it gets in the water..and wraps around the impeller. clogs it up. wont turn. take the hairball off the spindle..and away it goes.
if thats not the case..take it back. get a replacement or trade in value. should last...
