How long does it take to train for pellets/flakes?

Hi, I've been trying to wean my discus off frozen bloodworms and to take Hikari discus pellets and/or flake food. Three days starving them now and they just look at it while the other fish eat.

Anyone know how long it normally takes to train?

Can anyone recommend a good discus flake food?

Any other suggestions. I appreciate the help. Thanks.

Some discus may never get a taste for the pellets. What I do is feed the bits first and hopefully most will fill up on that and then introduce the blood worms. Less BW = less $. Grow your own live worms..cheap and plentiful.

whatever food you want them to try feed it 1st in the morning. They should be hungry from not eating all night. Only put a little in and leave it for a while before syphoning un eaten food. Don T.
