Heater ?

I have a 125 gallon discus community tank that I am keeping and I have a ? about heaters. I currently use 2 - 250 watt Jaeger heaters and they are set at 85 degrees. The problem is that the thermometer reads at just above 88 and the heaters constantly run. Has anyone ever had a problem with hot running heaters, specifically Jaegers?

The new Jaegers do have a nasty habit of sticking on. Try turning down the heat control knob and see if it is working.

Hawkeye, call Joh at JEHMCO for a controler. he has some quality products. I run his controler in my 125 with two 300 WON glass heaters .
