heres some pics of my one tank revised to sort of a planted tank..yikes..the dark side..
i got a rena filter..xp3 and added a bit of gravel..a few plants..and some marimo balls. the discus can play bocce ball now.also some tetras. they are happier and look better than ever.

well i didnt quarantine the marimo balls..i got them from a plant guy on ebay in singsing. : ) he just does plants and shrimps. so..nah...lol. yes they are algae balls marie..and they take a long time to grow. years and years..and then they break off mini balls and they grow.
the pups are toy poodles..not that big..fit inmy hand. they are 6 weeks today. all grown up almost..think they are big kids now. running and bouncing..and eating..etc.

I take it you're breeding the shrimp? That would be an interesting switch from the fish. I used to have shrimp in my reef tank that spawned all the time but no chance of raising them.
Your tank looks great. A definite improvement. Sometimes I do get tired of the bb look.

hi kayceo. well im trying to breed them..but they get bought as fast as i get them in. i sell more shrimp than discus thats for sure..lol. i get people coming daily for shrimp. cant keep up.

Those discus in the very first photo are horrible. Horrid body shape, no fins at all to speak of and, OMG I think they actually have hair! (They do look to be good swimmers though)

Larry..yeah bare bottom...they didnt like it..had to add the mat. their first bath. im sure they thought i was trying to turn them into fish ....

no pup only thread..it might leak that april has gone to the dogs..lol.
thats just my inbetween project. fish and grooming first..pups second.
more to come..my chocolate coated toy poodle is gonna be due in a few weeks. : )
