View Full Version : Sue50 changing user name to

Diamond Discus
09-20-2007, 09:35 AM
On other forums my user name has always been "Diamond Discus" so for consistency and to avoid confusion, I registered again and will not be using Sue50 any longer. I remember when you changed your user name from lhforbes to Polar Bear, Larry....so I will give it a go as well. I have not posted too much on this forum but hope to spend more time here as summer winds down.

I have been a member here at Simply since 10/27/05. I live in Iowa and have 7 tanks running currently. I am a Discus addict, but I love my African cichlids too and raise cherry shrimp. I moderate on our Iowa Aquaria Association forum and an co/Admisistrator on a small new forum that focuses on Cichlids.

120 gallon
Psuedotropheus Saulosi
Albino Bristlenose
Julidochromis Marlieri (Burundi)

110 gallon
RT and BD Discus

75 gallon Tanganyican tank
Cyprichromis leptosoma (Blue Flash)
Julidochromis Marlieri (Burundi)
'Lamprologus' caudopuntatus (Mpulungu)
Albino Bristlenose

55 gallon tank
PB Discus

40 gallon tank
Neolamprologus Brichardi (Magara)

20 gallon
heavily planted cherry shrimp tank

20 gallon
QT tank/Discus

I realize there is a Diamond_Discus already on this forum so I will put my real name in my signature to avoid confusion.

Thanks Simply!! You are a great source of information and lots of fun as well!

Sue Bauman

Administrators can change usernames for members. I would encourage people to do that in the future. It allows you to keep all of your previous posts and also eliminates having to sign up a second username.

This is my 4 year old mare and myself with my 2 grandaughters. I am addicted to horses too. :D

Sue,
I really like that African tank that you have setup, I have always liked African cichlids but haven't set one up.

Thanks, they are a lot of fun and very active. You should try one. ;)

I forgot to add pics of my cherry shrimp tank, here are also the cyps, the 40 gallon breeder with Brichardi, and the 55 and 20 holding tanks for new Discus. :p

All your tanks look great Sue! Nice to see a familiar face on here as I am just now venturing over on this site. The discus will be here tomorrow and I will post some pics for you to see.

I should mention that when I changed my name to Polar_Bear I did PM Al and Ryan about it and asked them to close the lhforbes12 account. Ryan was very courtious and helpful, so it isn't anything anyone need to fear.
