fanning

Hi everyone. I have a ?. I have read umptine times that the parents fan the eggs. Can anyone explain that to me? I don't get what that is or if it is happening here w/ this spawn i have.

i believe your talking about when they fan the eggs by moving there fins back and forth to keep water circulating around the eggs

OK, maybe that is it. I did see them use excessive fin action, but wasn't sure what they were doing. Thanks for the info
