Anyone know where to get these products ?

I used to get them from Dr FosterSmith, but they only sell small bottles. I like to buy them in gallon, if available.

I use the Pond Prime as well for the bigger bottle. It's the same thing as regular prime.

I've bought prime from Pet Solutions in the past. It is the best price I have been able to find for the 2 liter bottle.

I use the Pond Prime as well for the bigger bottle. It's the same thing as regular prime.

There must be a difference if a 2 liter bottle of Pond Prime will treat over 40,000 gallons and a 2 liter bottle of regular prime treats just 10,000. (The 10k is based upon the regular prime ad saying 250ml treats 1250, so 1250 times 8 = 10k.)

If it really is the same, everyone should be buying the Pond Prime.

It is the same ingredients just that pond prime is more concentrated which means you don't use as much as you do for regular prime.

Hey Scott,
Actually, the Pond Prime is identicle to regular Prime. The directions are misleading in that the Pond Prime says 1 dose treats twice as much water, but thats only because they recommend using 1/2 the amount of Prime p/gal in ponds as compared to aquariums, not because it's more consentrated. We've even had a rep from the Co that makes it here on Simply to confirm it as it was hotly debated more than once in the past.
