Combining babies

Now that I have babies at various different ages I am running into the problem of where can I put all these little rascals.
Can I put different age babies together?
at what age and what size tank?

Tom,
I mix the same babies from the same pairs about 5 to 7 days difference in age so their size are about the same. The babies can be 2 weeks old to
4 weeks in a 10 or 20 gallon tank.
