Discus bands/stripes

Does it mean anything if my juvie discus are showing their bands more than I have ever noticed? They are all acting happy and begging for food, none are dark. Just wondering what it means if the stripes are more pronounced than usual?

They're stress bars and can show more if the fish is stressed or its mood has changed. Has anything changed since you've noticed the bars showing more?

Not that I can think of. Last water change was wednesday, I know they are overdue. They are getting one tomorrow morning. Thanks for the info.

Mood bars. I dont think they are always a sign of stress (bad). Mine will show bars also when excited like during feeding time.
