Gh/ Conductivity

I moved to new area where the water Gh is : 3 but the coductivity is 250 Ms
How could that be?
Please explain.

They are 2 different things. You can soften water with resin exchange(lower the GH) and it will increase the conductivity. ( also TDS) Don T.
