I have a pair of adult German Blue Rams. My daughter wants them in her 20 gal tank. Is this too small?

IME I would say no its not too small for them...but water quality is a must for these guys and I tend to see that they like to school more with their own kind if they're not breeding. So as long as you keep up with water changes they should be fine.

Also you will need to take into consideration what else she has in that tank as well???

I agree with brat and I used to keep all my adult ram breeders in 10gs without problem as long as you have adequate filtration, or you keep up with WCs.

Rams have a normal life span of about 2 to 2-1/2 years so you might keep that in mind. They mostly school until they reach breeding age then they tend to pair off.
