ive never owned a discus book
and what i read in the books (from hanging out in the lfs to much)
is all right here
im sure some books will have alot of good info
but ive owned them for 7 months now with great results
just from reading this forum
every question imagined is already here
so i guess its time to get out of my shell and say hi

Hey Alan -
A person close to me finally, I'm in SLC, Ut.
There is only a few of us in this area, at least until you get to CA.
On the "wife" thing -
It's cheaper than hunting - a four wheeler and a 247 ca. cost a chunk of change too.
Then there is always bars and casinos - Lord only knows what you could loose there !
You could be into "off roading" not only dangerous BUT very expensive vehicles with LOTS of maintenance.
The Discus are looking better and better, huh ?????
I'm the Discus person in our family -
Hubby says it's better than buying "Prada" shoes, artificial nails, designer clothes, and having my hair done, or needing a BMW.
So it works out............
