does anyone have an experience with these guys? they basicly look like a 1.5 inch gold nugget as far as coloration.

my lfs has been able to get 2-3 shipments of them since he started requesting starting about a year and a half ago.

i've found little information online. so... anybody delt with these guys before, and more importantly, where did you get them?

try going to www.planetcatfish.com

could be parotocinclus pernambuco or p. spilosoma color morph...use their "search" to find discussions regarding pitbull otos and other species often collected with them.

Personally I have no firsthand knowledge of your oto but, I have had otos in the past that developed a bad appetite for discus slimecoat and would harass and try to attach to the discus.

these guys actually would be in a seperate tank than my discus. yeah, i did a search under that name ang got no results. i think i'll ask the lfs manager what their scientific name is. thanks.
