Snails and discus

What is the feeling of housing large snails with Discus? Is the temperature the major issue? I really like golden and mystery snails and thought it would be a nice addition. Presently I have 6 discus; 6 serpae tetra; 5 black tetra; 2 albino bushynoise cats.

Hmmm.. I thought the snail shell would not like the acid water discus enjoy.
