Hello all, I was wondering what the possible outcome of these two fish might be. The male is a large LSS and the female is an average sized Golden (PB based). Any insight would be helpful since they are sitting on eggs right now.

BTW, good call at mixing the pairs up Jack. Not three days later they spawned.

Thanks again.

Troy, BEAUTIFUL gold diamond female !!! Do you find outcrossing a pigeon blood to a non pigeon produces a lot of peppering or shading in a lot of fry??

Troy,

Do you know how your golden is carrying the pigeon gene?

2 possible sets of results:

1. All pigeons

or

2. some pigeons and some standard type body colors.

you will get a variety of patterns some in snakeskin, some normal.

As for pepper, hard to say until you try. I use a super clean red melon and cross with lss and receive super clean pigeons from that pair with as little dust as the father pigeon. Maybe you will as well. Its not really true, pigeon crosses don't always produce pepper.
