Hi,
we will get to know each other later. Now I have 2 questions for you. My name is Marko and I’m coming from Croatia.
1. Can I dissolve metro in water and keep it in liquid shape for a while, week or two.
2. My discus fins won’t heal. They don’t root, they are slightly damaged on the edges but they won’t heal. Damage is not spreading.

I think metro dissipates in a few days so I think you need to use it as soon as possible. Don T.

Are the eges the same color as the other parts of the fins? If they are then they should heal eventualy unless they are being nipped by another fish. If they are a whitish color then you could have fungus or bactirial problems. I am no expert so I'm hoping someone else will jump in with advise. Don T.

Can you test for ammonia and nitrite?
I would check those and increase wc's.

Keep the tank very clean

No, I can’t. I threw my tests because of exp. date. But I will buy another one. I don’t think is ammonia burn or something like that. Its 450 liters tank with 2 canister filters, 20l of volume and 1700 l/h. Thing is that one of my discus has that fin problem for months. A have tried anti bacterial meds. I change water regularly, 100l per change. Maybe fungus. But they dont root and they dont heal. Funny...

What does regular water change mean to you? Have gravel?
I'd up your wc's and forget meds first.
